HGV Vehicle Module

Hard wired into the vehicle for 24/7 tracking, the “Link” unit records the vehicles GPS position every 10-seconds for accurate route and mileage reporting. The unit has an integrated GPS aerial (so no visable aerials on roof or windscreen) and a ‘G’ Force sensor to report and alert when the truck is subject to Harsh Braking and Harsh Cornering. Connections to both the vehicles engine management system and tachograph provides a 360° view of how the vehicle is being operated.

WEBFLEET

Web based software providing 24 hour secure access for real-time monitoring of vehicles via your own office PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad or Android Smartphone. Vehicle status, driver details, tachograph information, all overlaid on high quality photographic mapping. Live HD Traffic information on the same mapping screen as your vehicles keeping you and your driver up to date with any potential delays.

Concise journey and time sheet reporting, alert notifications and user administration including geofenced mapped areas for depots and customer sites. Journey replay screen shows 10-second gps multiple vehicle route trails to compare routing efficiency. A suit of printable vehicle and driver activity reports and a “Dashboard” of automatically updated KPI performance comparison graphs are also provided.

Real-time Digital Tachograph Information

Who is driving the truck?  How much time did the driver spend on driving and breaks today?  Which driver has enough time left to do the next job?  Which stages has the driver already completed?

All this information is recorded on the digital tachograph, but now also displayed in real-time on your office PC via the WEBFLEET vehicle tracking screen and available on printable reports to help you control drivers hours and the working time directive.

Tachograph Manager – is a complete end-to-end digital tachograph solution. It lets you download data remotely and manually, catering for all your fleet. Analise driver performance data, from driving time to rest periods and it automatically identifies social infringements.

Fuel & Driving Behaviour Monitoring

The latest “Link” vehicle tracking units can be connected to the trucks engine management system via it’s FMS port. A simple plug in connection relays your vehicles CAN-Bus information to your office via WEBFLEET in real time. Information such as engine idle time, fuel usage per trip and average vehicle/fleet mpg, PTO operation and alerts when fuel loss occurs while the vehicle is stationary!

Drivers and vehicles performance can be ranked in a selection of automatically produces graphs for easy comparison and areas identified where additional training is required.

The driver also has the benefit of Active Driver Feedback – information displayed in real-time on the TruckNav navigation screen includes Harsh Braking/Steering warnings, actual vehicle mpg against target, individual journey mpg and wasted fuel warnings to enable safer and more efficient driving.

 

Each Truck navigates and communicates with the help of its optional TruckNav driver GPS navigation and 2 way job dispatch and 5″ messaging screen or 7″ Pro Tablet. Routes are calculated taking into account the vehicles size, weight, time of day and real-time traffic information. The driver is  navigated via the fastest route turn-by-turn straight to the job location while the TruckNav unit continues to monitor traffic conditions during the journey and will advise if a faster route becomes available. You will also know when the driver is due to arrive at the destination as the ETA on the drivers TruckNav unit is also shown via WEBFLEET on your office PC screen.
